Jingle Bell Rock

The Batty Family Christmas party was last night and it was a riot! Lots of people and lots of fun. Here are some pictures from the night

Kinley and Rilyn (she is just 2 weeks younger than Kins) sizing each other up. I think that they like seeing someone their size

Kinley did not want to be put down, Rilyn didn't know what she was screaming for
Rachelle and Alesha and their littlest ones
The Unwrapping the most difficult present game. The present is wrapped many times and you have to use gloves to try and get it unwrapped. Dusty never got a long enough turn to get anywhere
Brandon was really good at getting the present unwrapped

We had our annual dinner at the Melting Pot with Jeff and Kitani and then went to look at the lights at Temple Square. Dusty and I at the Melting Pot

Kitani looked like a ghost!

Lovely Weather for a Sleigh Ride Together!

Dusty has been really into the Christmas season this year. He has been listening to Christmas music everyday and wanting to make sure that we all really enjoyed it. When we were down in the Riverwoods the other day I saw that they have a carriage ride at night. I decided to take full advantage of Dusty's Christmas spirit and we headed down tonight for Family Home Evening. We all got bundled up and rode on the carriage ride. It was just a cute little short ride around to see some of the lights. I love the Christmas season and it is fun to enjoy it all month long.

Here Comes Santa Claus

We made our way over to see Santa today down at the Riverwoods.
Kinley went right to him, but always had an eye on her mom and dad to make sure they weren't going anywhere :)

Miss Kinley C is 4 Months!

Kinley is 4 Months old! Wow the time has flown by. She has changed so much and just keeps changing every day! She had her 4 month check up today and here at the stats:
Height - 25 1/2 inches (90%)
Weight - 15 lbs 1 oz (75%)
So she is just growing and growing. She got some more shots and everything else looks great!
Here are some pics from the last month

Family pic at the doctor office - I am not sure if Kins wants to be a part of this family :)

Hanging out and waiting for the doctor to come

Sweet girl - Kinley is such a chatterbox. She likes to talk all the time. I think she most have really important things to say. She even talks to herself. It is so cute!

Kinley is super close to rolling over. She tries really hard, but just can't make that last move, but she will get it and then watch out - she will be on the move!
How can you not love crazy faces like this one?
She has some of the funniest faces and cracks me up! She is super expressive
Pretty blue eyes
She is getting more used to her car seat and driving around. She doesn't constantly scream anymore, and her favorite store to shop at is Costco. She is content every time we go!
Chubby Frog Legs!
This is her fav way to sit in her chair.
Kinley is so much fun and we love having her in our home. Can't wait to see what is up next with her!

Turkey Day!

So I was 100% lame this Thanksgiving holiday and only took 1 picture. But at least it was of Kinley :)
We spent Thanksgivivng with Dusty's family this year. His brother was working, so it was just the 3 of us and Dusty's parents. It was a good day! We ate yummy food, I got to take a nap, and just relaxed. It was a good Thanksgiving.

Things I am Thankful for:
- My beautiful daughter
- My awesome husband that works so hard for our family
- Being able to stay home with Kinley
- My mom and trips to see her in Vegas
- My nieces and nephews, and I love that they all love Kinley so much
- My sister and all of her "mom" advice for me!
- Dusty's family and that they all live so close
- Amazing friends and all of their support
- Long baths, naps with Kinley, dates nights with Dusty

Of course there are MANY more but I am ready to go get in bed and have a good nights sleep. Happy Thanksgiving everyone!

Turkey Day Present

We got a Turkey Day present in the mail today from my mom aka Grammy
It was a cute book for Kinley.
Dusty read it to her right away, and she was very interested. I think we might have a smart one on our hands.
Thanks Grammy for the book!

Harry Potter (please use British accent when saying the title)

Dusty got tickets to see Harry Potter from his work for last Thursday. We got to go at 7pm, and so we didn't have to wait for the midnight showing.
It was a lot of fun! Kitani watched Kinley for us, so we got to have a fun date night.
The movie was really good, I am excited to see the second part this summer.
Thanks Dusty for the fun date!
