HAPPY BIRTHDAY TIA J

I just needed to tell my sister Tia "Happy Birthday!" She is the best sister ever and here are a few reasons why!
1. She always makes me laugh
2. She gives great advice
3. She is a blast to dance around with (and I love that she teaches her kids to do the same thing)
4. She is an amazing mom, so I will know where to go for some tips
5. And the best thing about Tia, is that she has me as a sister!!!

This past Thursday Dusty and I went with our friends Shaun and Tammy to the Brad Paisley concert in Salt Lake. It was a lot of fun! He came with Rodney Atkins and Chuck Wicks who were both very good. But Brad was a great entertainer! So much fun to watch and so down to earth. We had a great time.

Ice Fishing

Dusty got the chance to go ice fishing last weekend with his dad, brother, uncle and some cousins.

They hadn't been since they were all little so it was a good time for them to catch up and

do something that they all used to love to do. This time it wasn't all about the fishing though.

They all were a little older and more adventerous. They decided to create a jump.

They had a snowmobile drag a snowboard behind and they went off the jump.

They all said that it was a blast!

Fun Times with Friends

The past few months we have been able to have some pretty good times with our friends.

GRADUATION

On December 14, 2007 Dustin Robert Batty graduated

from Weber State University with a Bachelor degree in

Radiologic Sciences with an emphasis in MRI

I was so proud of him. I met him when he started

the program, so it was exciting to see him finish!!

Dusty's family came to the graduation. In this picture I am

teaching his dad how to pose. It looks like he is doing a pretty good job!

A Little Catch Up

This is just a little new for me, but Tia really wanted me to get a blog so that Trae could see updated pics of Dusty and YaYa. How do I say no to that? So I thought that I would do a little recap.


In June we moved into a new house that we built! It took about 6 months and we are so excited to finally be in. The newest update is that we just finsished our sprinkler system. Yeah!!! Dusty had a lot of help from his dad, brother, and Tyler. Thanks!


We also got to go out to Virginia to see our favorite nephew! It was so much fun. We visited Washington DC and Virginia. It was really great to be able to see all of that history and see family. That was the greatest part.





One of the most exciting things this year has been that
we were able to go see Celine Dion in Las Vegas at the end of August. We went with Shayla and her friend. It was awesome. I had always heard how great the dancing was, but it was even better in real life.

And since we couldn't get enough of Vegas the first time, we went down at the beginning of October. Shayla came with us again, and we had just as much fun if not more. It was fun being able to see my mom and hang out with her. Dusty, Shay and I also went to the Tournament of Kings and we had out of control fun!

So that is just a little recap of our life and what we have been up to. I'll try to keep this entertaining!!!! Funny, funny.
