First Week of May

May has started off busy and we have been enjoying it!

 The frosting was delicous

Tulip Festival at Thanksgiving Point
It rained right before we went and so it was nice and cool. The kids all ran around and had a great time.

Kinley loved this picture because in her words "it is such a beautiful view"

I love this girl

Easter Weekend

Easter is a fun time of the year and I was excited for it to land on General Conference weekend, because what a better way to celebrate Easter, than listening to the prophet and apostles? It is truly what Easter is all about. We also had some fun during the weekend as well.

With Grammy's help, Kinley made her bunny cake

On Friday night we had the Batty Family Easter Egg Hunt at Uncle Roy's
There are always so many eggs, good food, and lots of kids to play with

Basket Found!

We were up at my Grandma Karen's on Sunday to watch conference and have an Easter egg hunt in between.

The Fairies visit Gardner Village

Gardner Village is always fun to visit and in March they had the place decorated with some small fairy villages. The kids thought it was fun to try and find them and it was good to enjoy the nice weather.

Christmas

We had a great Christmas that was really relaxed and a lot of fun. Christmas Eve we went to Tucanos for dinner and on Christmas Day we relaxed, opened presents and then went to the movie Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible No Good Very Bad Day. It is one of Kinley's all time favorite movies.

It's the Magical Time of the Year

I love Christmas time. Sometimes it seems like all we do is go go go but we create great memories and have so much fun.

One of the busiest times of the year for Dusty's work is December, so it is nice to get a date with him once in awhile

At Thanksgiving Point we went and saw the reindeers and ice carving

Thanksgiving Weekend

Thanksgiving weekend was a lot of fun. For Thanksgiving we headed up to Dusty's parents house and Kinley had to wear her Pocahontas costume because she had just learned at school all about the first Thanksgiving with the pilgrims and Indians.

The next day Tia and her kids came to Utah for Trae's basketball tournament and we got to hang out with them and go look at the lights at Temple Square.

Halloween

Kinley was the cutest witch for Halloween this year!

At school on Halloween they got to go trick or treating.
