We're Going to the Zoo

My mom was in town this last week, and my sister decided that she wanted to meet up with us in Salt Lake since she was just coming up for the day. We decided to meet up at the zoo. We had a great time. The kids loved it, and it actually stayed fairly cool. I only got really hot at the very end. Not too bad for an 8 month pregnant chick, right? :)

Island Park

A couple of weekends ago, Dusty and I made our way up to Island Park to stay at my grandpa's cabin. We had a great time. Dusty's parents and Jeff and Kitani came up to have some fun with us. It rained pretty much all weekend, but we made the most of it. I took naps, read and just had a relaxing time. Dusty was able to go fishing with his dad one of the days. Too bad they didn't catch anything. Since it was raining, I didn't even get my camera out till the last day. It was so pretty up there! And it was nice to not be here in Utah for the hot weekend

Chandi's Wedding in Arizona

While we were in Vegas our friend Chandi - who lives in Arizona - was getting married that same weekend, so we made the trip down. They got married in the Mesa Temple. It was a beautiful day, and she of course looked gorgeous! We were so excited to be able to be with her on her wedding day!

Las Vegas

At the end of April we made a trip down to Las Vegas. We had a great time! Dusty had a conference, and so I spent lots of time with my mom! We went maternity clothes shopping (it was a little depressing) and laughed a lot. Thanks mom! We also made a trip out to the William Sonoma outlet at Primm. That is a must for Dusty every time we go. We also went and saw the new Center on the strip. It was cool! The pic of me below is at the new hotel Aria.

Idaho Time

We got to go visit my sister up in Idaho one weekend in May and we had a great time!! The kids are all getting so old. We were lucky that we hit one of Trae's t-balls games, and Kira's dance recital. They both are so talented and so much fun to watch.

Dax got really hot at the recital so we had to strip him down. He is too cute!

While there we made a side trip to Blackfoot to meet up with Whitney and Brady. We had way too much fun! It had been too long since we had seen them so we had to catch up!
Whit and I are a week apart. She is having a boy and I a girl. I am sure that they will be friends. Ha Ha.

The End of the Road

My amazing husband has done it once again - GRADUATION!!!!!!
There were times that we didn't know how we were going to get through the last 8 months. Between Dusty working full time, full time school, clinicals and me being pregnant, I am not sure how we did it. But we did! I am so proud of him and everything that he does for our family. He is pretty great! Now to find a job to put that Paramedic Education to good use :)

Easter

This Easter, Dusty was working all weekend, and my mom was up in Idaho watching my sister's kids, so I decided to head on up to Idaho and join in the fun.
The kids had a great time! Trae and Kira woke up and were ready to look for their baskets.
Sandy, Mark and Ryan joined us later that day and we had a great dinner, and then an Easter egg hunt. It was a great weekend!

Catch Up #3 - Las Vegas

At the end of February, Dusty and I were able to take a quick weekend trip down to Vegas. Dusty had a RARE weekend off, and we took full advantage.
We were able to just relax, spend some time with my mom, and the best part is that my mom and I went to LOVE. It was amazing!!!! The tricks, the dancing, the Beatles music was great. I HIGHLY recommend anyone to go and see it. You won't regret it.

Catch Up #2 - Dakota Wedding

Dakota and Jeff got married in February. We were all so excited for the day to arrive. Everything was set, and the night before we all met up to have a dinner with family.

Catch Up #1 - Dakota Bridal Shower

In January, I got to throw Dakota her bridal shower! It was so much fun. We had a "Tiffany" theme. There was great food, lots of fun people and of course great gifts. The Food - there were 2 different sandwiches, salads and amazing desserts

What an Update?

Okay, so I have been the worst blogger! I am so sorry. I wish that I could give you some great excuse, but the truth is, I just haven't done it. Whoops!! I will try to get back on track. I have some fun things to blog about, but probably the most pressing is this:

Yes that is right, we are having a baby! Our little GIRL is due August 6th. (Yes that is Dusty's birthday) Everything is going well. I was sick at first, but now just tired, which I don't plan on ever going away :) We are very excited. I will try to keep my blog more updated.

Finishing up 2009

December has come and gone and it is already the new year. I don't know where it went. Our December was filled with Dusty finishing a semester (only one more to go!!), family parties, hanging out with friends, relaxing, and of course the holidays.

We made it up to Temple Square to see the lights with Carlos, Karly, Jeff and Kitani

It was tons of fun, although it was very busy and very cold

We spent Christmas up at Dusty's parents. There was delicious food and lots of presents.

That weekend, we went to Dax's baby blessing and spent some time with my family in Pocatello and opened our Christmas presents there. It was a lot of fun. This is all of us after the blessing
