Mount Timpanogos Cave

This morning Dusty and I went with our friends, Aaron and Jen from Texas, and hiked up to the Timpanogos Cave. It was pretty intense. I am so out of shape and that hike was steep! The caves were awesome, and I guess they were worth the hike. Thanks Aaron and Jen for the awesome idea.
This is after we finished the hike. My face is BRIGHT RED!!!! I don't sweat, I just have the reddest face ever.

The Heart of the Cave
There is some legend that this is the heart of 2 Indians who died
Dusty and I after we got out of the cave. It was absolutely gorgeous! I little scary for someone who is afraid of heights but beautiful just the same.

Anniversary Weekend

So I decided that I wanted to carry out Dusty and I's anniversary to the weekend. We went and stayed at the Armstrong Mansion, a bed and breakfast in Salt Lake. I would not recommend this place. It was so noisy because it was close to the street, and you could hear when anyone used any sort of water. Plus, the breakfast was not very good. Dusty and I have stayed at a couple bed and breakfasts, and I normally love them, but we will not be going back here. But it was a bonus that they upgraded our room. If you ever want to go to a good bed and breakfast go to the Castle Creek Inn (www.castleutah.com) So Friday night we didn't get any sleep and Saturday we thought that we would try something fun and new, so we went up to Snowbird. They had an Alpine Slide, a tram to ride to the top of the mountain, a zip line, and a bunch of other things to do. I was so proud of myself for going on the zip line. It was pretty scary and intense, but I did it. So Dusty and I had a great anniversary weekend and got to do something things that we normally don't get to do.
We were upgraded to the June Bridal Suite because the innkeeper was using
the room that we booked. Nice upgrade!

This the biggest tub that I have ever seen. You really can't tell by the picture, but it is huge! But also really slick. I about fell on my face!
Dusty riding the bull. He rocked and looked really hot doing it!
On the VERY top of the mountain. I had to use the zoom big time with camera because I couldn't get that close to look down.
Dusty and I on the top of the mountain. It was beautiful up there.

3 Year Anniversary

Us at the Melting Pot
The Cheese Course
The Meat Course
(I forgot to take the pic when we first got it)
The Delicious Chocolate!!!
Dusty was being a really good cook. He was all over it!
My favorite was the dessert. Those chocoloate dipped strawberries were to die for!
We got the chocolate and carmel fondue. Amazing!

So on Tuesday, July 8, it was Dusty and I's 3 year anniversary. I couldn't believe it! It seems like we have been together forever, but at the same time I can't believe how fast the 3 years have gone. We have been through a lot, 3 different surgeries, building a house, finishing school and numerous jobs. I have loved almost every minute of it. (I'll be honest the surgeries were not fun) I am so blessed to have such an amazing husband. He is so patient, always makes me laugh and I don't know what I would do without him.
He spoils me too much!! For our anniversary this year, Dusty decided to take me to the Melting Pot.
I had been wanting to go for a long time, and we finally did it. It was so good.
The food was great, and it was very fun and romantic at the same time. Very good choice.

New Hair!

The Side View
The Front
The Back

So, I have cut my hair! It has not been this short since the 8th grade. Crazy! So the pics aren't the greatest it was being out of control today, so sorry. But I decided to cut it because the back had started to really grow from where the doctor shaved it, so I wanted it to all start growing together. It turned out pretty good. It is just taking some getting used to! And I am pretty sure that I look soooo tired in the middle pic. Oh well.
